In Seiki, I work more on energy than on the body, which means that the pressures are more subtle, simply energetic. Seiki is an energy work that resembles shiatsu because we work on the ki of the same meridians but from a very different approach. The person will explore the depths of their being, we will open the joints and the circulation from head to toe. Receiving a seiki is a profound experience that allows you to release the blocked energy, to let it out. We are not saying that an energy is bad, we are simply saying that it is misplaced. This is what illness is: misplaced energy, blocked where it should not be. By unblocking this stagnant energy, we allow the body to heal itself.
